I never liked PBR. It wasn't the worst of the big brands but there were many better choices.

Stroh's was pretty popular when I was in college but not the same since Pabst bought the brand.

Michelob pretended to be a premium brand but it wasn't any better than other beers. Pretty good for a light beer but there were others that were just as good and cheaper.

Miller Lite was my beer of choice in my college days. Busch too and it was a lot better than its sister brand Budweiser. Coors was just getting popular around here then and it was seriously overrated.

I remember a blind taste survey (I think Consumer's Reports) where Old Milwaukee won over expensive beer.
We drank anything we could get our hands on as teenagers. Budweiser, Miller pony packs, Pabst Blue Ribbon.

I was visiting relatives in Georgia back then and tried to order a Busch and got puzzled looks because they had never heard of it there.
