Yep, and being retired serves to strengthen my argument against early morning yard work.
Retired people get up not so early, have coffee, etc, lounge around, before we start activities.

I haven’t retired yet so I can’t say for sure, but I would guess settling into a new life after decades of doing something takes a few months to get used to.
