I had a big tire place on my route. They would bundle the tires into 2's and 3's because it was cheaper that way. 100 of those would fill up a P1000.
They eventually shut down and moved to South Carolina where its cheaper. And screwed the long term employees royally when they did it.

I loved 'em. We had a TDP stop to Tire Rack's distribution center.
As a part timer, that stop was my ticket to OT. Two drivers with hurt backs, and they basically let those dudes take a helper every day for over a year.
And I was one of the high seniority PTers.

My tire place should have been on TDP but the center manager didn't want to lose credit for the volume. They knew to call UPS if they were shipping more than usual and there would be a mad scramble to have TDP get a trailer there.
