On last night's Boston newscasts , several stations showed a town near me in panic mode as the locals were backed up waiting to remove their boats from the water.
What none of the reporters commented on was that launching ramp is very short.
It is so short that it can only be used during mid & high tides.
This is not a secret, every boater knows this.
Some times those residents come over to my town to launch their boats, since our ramp is a double wide one.
