The stock market goes up and it goes down.
Since I don't plan on selling anytime soon, it' fun to watch.
On paper only today I "lost" almost $43K and it does not effect my plans.
At my house I usually tell the wife "well we lost a new truck today or we made enough to buy a new truck today". Chances are my daughter and her family will end up with the majority of it eventually anyway so she should be the one who worries about it.
