I remember I was making prank phone calls to the operator (dial 0) in the early 70’s …..after my 3rd call …she held the line …so every time I picked up the phone it was her on there …I was shitting my pants that my mother would find out if she used the phone …lol …thank God she didn’t use the phone for a few hours after and the operator disconnected
