Yesterday they were saying the plane was moving at about 25 mph when it hit the fire truck. Now they are saying it was around 100

The only way you can really protect yourself is with FMLA. Hopefully you’ll apply for that if you need it. Otherwise you’ll be using the Union and the grievance procedure and the attendance policy.

Certainly if you plan on working someplace 30+ years, you’re gonna have some personal issues.

I can 100% promise you the company doesn’t care what any of us are going through.
