I just returned from driving from Mn. to Texas and back on I-35. (2300 miles) I saw very few UPS feeders on the road --a bunch of Fed-Ex ones and a BOAT load of Amazon ones. Amazon feeders outnumbered UPS by at least 10 to one. Apparently the fat lady has begun to sing as I predicted years ago.
Something rotten at UPS?
Putting it on the rail and using contractors during peak
Someone needs to put you on the rail.
Using all this logic n level headedness
Wtf

Well, not really logic or levelheadedness but definitely a lot of bitching. I hear from feeder drivers who are pulled off their normal bids for peak season.

We use to rebid runs during peak because they added so many, some guys would change some not. Then go back to your regular run after peak.

Were you driving at night? Most of the UPS network moves at night.
I've been up and down I-35 between Mn. and Texas dozens of times and believe me the UPS feeders were running day and night-------except this time.

Eww sorry to hear that lol. 😆 I avoid 35 like the plague. Like this week I am running from Mesquite to Chicago. I will run 69/75 to avoid 35. And I see a lot more of us on 69 these days so that may be part of the issue as well.
