My favorite was the P300 air van made by Chrysler , the caravan.
It was a small front wheel drive van that was great on mileage.
When you are driving around 100 miles a day , that was a bonus.

One time I had a stop at a Chrysler Dealership, the sales reps were confused and asked if it was one of their vehicles.
I informed them that it was.
They all had knowledge of the Grand Caravan , but not the ( regular ) no frills Caravan.

Wow it’s been 20 years since Union City Body was bought by Utilitmaster.
Interesting video 1988 here about it.
10:40 starts the UPS production of a pkg car.
13:33 shows a worker manhandling the car out of the building sans power steering. Don’t think @21savage would have lasted long.

I think we had a couple of the Caravans but mostly Ford Econolines were the vans here.

We also had those Fords, regular roof tops and a few bubble tops.
Once the centers no longer wanted them, Automotive painted them white and moved them to Air Operations.

All the new ones are complete garbage
