But but we needed a real ID to travel safely around the nation. 🙄

lol i know right give me a break, Another thing both sides need to stand strong together against is pushing more towards digital currency and less physical cash

Not only are visa and Mastercard some of the biggest pushers of censorship online, it’s a scary thought of being denied purchases for whatever reason, way too much government control

I brought up the real ID nonsense on Brown café and most people just say let them do it. Eventually, we will all be living in this digital hell because we just let them do it. You know it’s for our own safety that they can control us and track us.

He looking to buy another social media platform?

I promise our valuation will be less ridiculous than OpenAIs.

@badideaguy what do you think about this? I want to believe it’s true lol

It's Musk making promises of technology.
I don't believe it in the slightest.

AI is good at some things. I've even used it to aid me in programming before.
But it's only able to do well when it'derivative content.

It can make good login screens because there's 5 million of them on Github that it was trained on.
I tried to make a clone of Windows 11's taskbar calendar with it one time.

Couldn't get close with hours of trying.

Unless the physics is already in the training material, I just don't see it.

@badideaguy can I be excited about this one or no?

@badideaguy can I be excited about this one or no?

No, you’re not allowed to be excited about any alternative therapies for cancer that way they can give you all the poison and radiationthey they want and charge you exorbitant amount of money to damn near kill you if you get cancer. All that for a success rate of less than 20% for most treatments of cancers.

thoughts?

Absolute nonsense. If the power brokers and billionaires get to the point where they no longer need us, and our labor we will not be given free money will be given free plots in the ground. Enslavement and extermination.

That was my first thought as well. Also how would that take in to account high risk jobs that I can’t see automation taking over, like police and firefighters? Would they be paid a million dollars an hour or what?

That's interesting.

They say it's novel, but my hypothesis is that the building blocks to come up with the theory are entirely in the training data.

I'm far more interested in the inputs to the LLM, to be honest. If you tell the model where to look, it's not necessarily a clean room discovery, or all that useful.

I'm also not sure why they're using a retail GPU model for this. There's literally no upside, and generally require heavy quantization (loss of detail).

Final point? It's Google. Do no evil, my ass.

I should go reread Animal Farm.

I should go reread Animal Farm.

💯

I should go play with myself

These people have these great ideas cannot account for the human soul and our determination.
