Asked if Americans should worry about Iran retaliating against Americans on U.S. soil, President Donald Trump responded, "I guess."
For the latest Time cover story titled "Trump's War," which was published on Thursday, March 5, correspondent Eric Cortellessa questioned Trump about the details of the unfolding war with Iran. In a pointed moment, he was asked whether it's reasonable for Americans to have concerns about being attacked at home.
"I guess," Trump, 79, responded. "But I think they're worried about that all the time. We think about it all the time. We plan for it. But yeah, you know, we expect some things."
"Like I said, some people will die," the president added. "When you go to war, some people will die."
that is some really bad messaging, which is surprising because he normally is pretty skilled at it in his own unique way
Oh yeah? How are they supposed to do that right now?
The new leader is the son apparently, so he just saw his dad and 14 month old niece killed by American and Israeli forces, can’t imagine he’ll be too happy
and then reports are now looking like it was in fact our missile that bombed the elementary school, with deaths around 150 children
I know some people think this is all cool and bad ass, but this is part of the reason these countries hate us.
we spent all those years, all the tax money, all the deaths fighting in the Middle East in Iraq and Afghanistan only for the Taliban to still be in control and nothing is better in the long run for Americans or the Middle East

Yeah. Wishful thinking can't do much on its own. I hope Trump and his folks have something realistic in mind when they're telling the Iranian people to rise up.
It's hard to quantify how bad this has been for China.
Like Russia, the ineffectiveness of their TEMU military technology has been exposed, and that's going to cost them a lot of money in foreign sales. https://t.co/oZR4BDjO7R
