What happens if I forget to notify my supervisor I am over dispatched for my request for relief from overtime?

There is new language in art 37 that says if I am not going to be back in 8 hours on a day that I have been approved to be relieved from overtime, I will notify my management team by 1300. What happens if I lose track of time and don't send a DIAD message in until 1330 or if I don't send one in at all? Do I lose the right to grieve for penalty pay?

You never lose the right to grieve. You just give the company a stronger argument of why you shouldnt receive the contractual penalty.

Then they will deny your 8.0

We were told to let them know before at noon and at 3, set a reminder on your phone

Ps no penalty pay in central states if that’s were you are, you can only bring your work back at 8 hours if you notified and no one did anything

Similar to what they told us here in 710.

Paper trail. Make sure you send the messages in so there's records.

seta reminder on your phone, you need to notify before you leave and we have been told to do it at 12 and 3 just to be sure
