I finally have Alaska booked for next year.
Did you see any Northern lights? What month did you go?
Probably low chance for Northern Lights. Alaska cruises don’t get a high enough latitude and they(Major Lines) don’t cruise in Winter.

Ever docked at Puerto Plata, DR? I've done Santo Domingo, La Romana, and Amber Cove, but a future cruise docks at PP. Was wondering what's walkable.

Been there 4/5 times .Feeder walkable or pkg?There is a Taino Bay(?) complex just steps from the ship. Surfing machine, lazy river and shops. Oh some bars also. Grocery store, Cable Car, and Spanish Fort Area overlooking the ship/port are walkable a bit farther.

Nowhere exciting. Tampa to Cozumel for the weekend. I’m going with my friend group and we all get along really well. A great time will be had by all.
