Good video

Nice outfit

Heard that wasn't all you were busting
Well done, simple and succinct.

Glad you broke the myth about the 30,000 number being part of the buyouts. They were never going to give 30,000 people 150k to leave.

That would be 4.5 billion

Thanks, Dave

7500 drivers is over 1 billion

Actually surprised the company is offering that kind of money.

I agree, for a company that acts like its going broke they sure do love to burn through money.

Yep, we were told this week money for bottled water and hydration packets will be scarce this summer because funds are not available. 😆

I made the comment during PCM that they will apparently have funds available for emergency room visits! 🤷‍♂️

So if the company does not provide bottled water and electrolytes, does stepping into the gas station to purchase them no longer require punching out for a break?

Not to play the role of @integritycares too much here, but if the company is shifting the burden of work hydration to the drivers entirely, I'd argue that buying a gatorade in a gas station becomes a safety issue that the driver shouldn't have to punch out for, instead of an integrity issue that they're "stealing time".

I don’t know about buying bottled water at 7-Eleven but I just bought a Slurpee, cream filled Long john, and a foot-long hotdog!

I’m trying to get my vitamins!

This is mostly BS. They will buy a lot of water. They will end up giving out hydration packets and people will still go to the hospital lol.

In my time at this company, the people they get fired for something like buyingbottled water are really getting fired for something else. I’m not saying it’s right I’m saying the company is like an elephant. They never forget when you piss them off.

Absolutely you can buy water without punching out. UPS training says to drink 24-32 ounces of water per hour when working in the heat. The jugs they provided us hold 128 ounces of water. That's a 4-5 hour supply. If you drink 128 ounces the first 4 hours of your shift, then take lunch at your contractually designated time and fill up your jug, return to work and drink 128 ounces the next 4 hours of your shift, you now have no water and hours of work left to do. Where else would the rest of the water for your shift come from?

Just message that you need water and that you need to stop. CYA, nobody will question it.

The company never gave out water back in the day. Somehow we all survived.

The company has a responsibility to make sure the employees are hydrated! Clean, potable water should be available at all times. This is not even debatable OSHA regulations demands it.
