No choice in the matter
I will have the last of my money moved next month.
I started that too, as you know. Waiting for that first check to get here, so I can move it to Vamguard.

You can move as much while you are working but once you retire I believe its 30 days.
I did it.
But they only.let you do one roll over per day.
Its very simple and you can move as much ir as little as you want.
They do charge you a $10 fee.
When you retire do one rollover to move the money to someplace better. I don't think they charge you anything if you're retired.
Why would you be screwing around doing one a day? One and done.

Because I did some while I was still working and contributing
I used the 59 and a half to my advantage.
Thanks, Dave
No actually thanks I really didn’t know this. My 401(k) has gotten big enough that I actually am concerned about moving some money around and when I can do it.
21 working days after tonight!
Those 21 days will go by quick!

When I can, I will move enough to get me close to the next tax bracket. My software shows anywhere from 13-24 years to get it all moved, even while staying in the 22%bracket.
Wish I started the Roth contributions much earlier.

Wish they had been offered earlier than 1988/1999(?)
It sucks to see 21,000 in my pretax and 1,000 in my Roth 401k.✊

Quit the pre-tax now and do all ROTH.

That's what I am doing for the last few years. My procrastination is going to catch up to me, for sure

When Roths were first created I was already getting close to retirement so it was a toss up on whether to do a conversion. I decided against it and that will end up costing me mostly because of how well my investments have done.

If you stay in the same tax bracket, there is no difference in the amount you'd end up with.

You'll be fine
