Only have experience with the IV and V but from a standpoint of balancing ergonomics and function for the given job I don't see how you can do better than the V. The VI looks like a nightmare. I'd spend more time dropping than scanning or getting signatures with.

I drop-kick the piece of shit regularly but it seems to at least withstand the abuse well. Between this and required photographs though I think there is no way in hell you can utilize a helper now. Even something as simple as a customer meeting you at the truck takes so long you might as well have walked the package to the door by the time it's done loading menus.
