Actually, in the Central Region there is a contract "interpretation" that says as long as you are wearing
your company issued uniform identifying you s a UPS employee.... you could wear anything you want
underneath. IE: white socks, black or colored t-shirts, etc. We never had a problem with hoodies.

I'm on lay off now, in the Hub, and I'm finding it to be much easier that driving a yard horse for 14 hrs a day, because this is what they make the rest of our drivers do. Hoodies should become a part of the Uniform.

Thanks. Yeah, rumors are more layoff are coming right after Labor Day. Well, I lived through it already. 9 hrs in the Hub is nothing worse than 14 hrs in the yard for me. The bad thing is they're cutting about 50 street jobs starting the next bid. I hate yard, but it looks like that's gonna be the only option for junior feeders for the next couple of years, if they're gonna keep her in the office.
