I had one of the first VHS VCR machines in the area. It cost me almost $700,00 back in the late 70's. A small fortune at that time. It was basically a coin toss on which format to choose-- Beta or VHS. VHS eventually won out over Beta at that time because the porn industry used it more than Beta.
