Not necessarily. They were up front about some people's separation dates being later than others'. I told people to just apply and negotiate a separation date, if they didnt want to negotiate with you, don't return the separation papers. People don't want to read and comprehend the rules then act on their own behalf, laziness really.

Kinda helps people here. Takes 90 days to file and start pension benefits this gives those people more time now so maybe they can get the buyout money and start collecting pension benefits close to the same time.

OK, we have people who still have the old date, and some with the new.
One guy called, and they told him don't worry about the date, it doesnt mean anything yet. They said we will know sometime this week.
