Do you believe the perpetrators of sex crimes against children shouldn't be in the news or face justice because there have been payouts?

I just think congress passing and voting on bills to see whatever is just a tad ridiculous with everything else going on in the world. This is just political bullshit and nothing more. You really believe any of these politicians give a flying fuck about the victims? They just want to see who was involved to point fingers....nothing more.
