Buyout

Facts please backing up this meme. I say this because the union leadership was very busy shooting their mouths off saying they are fighting this. Very had to believe they would fold like a cheap suitcase, allow such a thing to happen? It would make them look like buffoon's.

In my center, 14 men applied. The top 8 that applied got it. The lowest senior guy that got it has over 30 years.

That is exactly how I would think it would go down. We will see.

Only execption I would made is all 7500 buyouts go by union seniority, nation wide. If that emptied out any local, so be it. Start hiring UPS.

Exclude the Central in that 7500. They didn't want it.

Shouldn't matter feeder or package, only teamster seniority should matter.

Good job Teamsters.

So we don’t have classification seniority?

Last time I checked, we do, I can’t go to Feeders whenever I want nor can they come to package whenever they want.

Do buildings bid vacations yearly based on building seniority or seniority for package, car centers, and feeders ect. Ect?

Wasn't the whole buyout based on each centers needs as far as the company was concerned? So if they were short feeders in one building but fat RPCD in the same building RCPD got it?

No, but this is very different. The teamsters made a deal to let 7500 of its members take the buyout.

Since this is national, across all buildings, centers, etc, teamsters seniority should rule.

Too many high seniority in one location? Too bad UPS, not the unions problem.

Is that what the agreement said or did you just make that up?

Or did they agree to allow the company to use the seniority list the same as they always do?

You asking me or @wally ?

Heard SOB cut a deal And got 50% of the buyout money from the 22500 Teamsters he negotiated to get denied.

And used that money for his make me a football player make a wish.

Can't confirm though. That's what the feeder drivers are saying.

Feeder news network is always right

Why can’t they run for office again?

Not sure if they can run for office if they aren't currently an active employee

I could be wrong
