Picked up the ninja slushi on prime week -price match from Costco. I've been thinking about frozen cuba libres for over a year ever since I had one at this distillery. I special ordered the rum from the distillery to my ABC. My first attempt didn't meet my own expectations. Wouldn't want to serve it to a guest. Very rum forward, too sweet, wrong texture. Back to the drawing board I go. But first I'll have to finish the half a bottle of rum I put in the machine 🙃
Alcohol to liquid mix has to be just right to freeze.
