Seems like a update to the diad software was pushed through over the weekend. A quirk of the new update is that whenever your diad loses service while it is in the cradle on the mapnav screen it gets stuck that way and you have to reboot to get it to do anything. That in itself is pretty annoying but the icing on the cake is now when you reboot the diad you have to do 2 factor authentication to get logged back in. It's the same 2FA process as logging in to UPSers, they text a code to your cellphone. This is problematic in many regards. What if I forget my cellphone at home? What if my phone died on route? What if I am on a rural route with no cell service? When one of these things happens I won't be able to log in to the delivery app without the code from my phone so I will have no way to send a message to the center telling them what's going on. I guess at that point I will be driving back to the center to ask them what they want me to do..Any of y'all also having this happen to you this week? Would love to hear horror stories of problems this has caused if y'all have any yet.
Lol we had the same issue today. Pretty much told him I won’t be filing grievance. I’m not using my personal phone for their authentication. If they want me to have my personal phone involved, they need to pay for it. As far as I’m concerned, everyone needs to call the Center from other customers phone and tell them I can’t sign back into my diet. I guess I’ll just sit here and wait until you figure this out .Fuck those cocksuckers.
