Exactly, but why would UPS risk by making rookies their drivers, when there's plenty of experienced drivers out there ? There should be minimum 5 years accident free semi experience requirement to get hired by this company. This is common sense safe practice. Not nice saying shit that you've said, you're old but didn't get smarter with your age, lol
Because UPS thinks you’re training as a tractor-trailer driver was crap. If they didn’t train you, they don’t care much about your experience. Similar to package car they don’t care if somebody worked for FedEx as a delivery driver.We have eight feeder drivers, currently trying to qualify as package car drivers only two are going to make it. The 6 will be forced to go back and work in the building. The only other option they have is to find a 22.3 job that they can qualify for. Otherwise, they’ll be loading and unloading packages at their hub right here, or they can move onto another company.
