What I enjoy about storms is all the new people who move to the coast who suddenly freak out when seawater splashes over the seawall.
They don't know how to deal with it and panic.
Many start demanding that the public services some how stop the tides.
I seen people get onto their roofs and start screaming as their backyards fill up with tidal surges.
When the local road was underwater and some idiot in an ecobox decided that they could drive thru standing water like it was a puddle,
Suddenly found themselves floating sideways and blocking both lanes of traffic.
The Town sent a frontend loader to rescue them.
As the equipment was traveling towards them, other were screaming that the equipment was creating a wake that was damaging their front lawns.
As for the people stuff in stalled traffic, they complained as to why any of it happened.
Many of the locals drive full size pickup trucks and just take it in stride.
