Higher a lawyer? Doesn’t sound like she hired any lawyer there was no money involved. And most lawyers will not take a case until it’s gone through grievance procedure.

Without knowing her local, there’s no way for me to know exactly what’s going on. It sounds like her local got her job back. There’s lots of small locals that don’t have the time nor the money to fight a case that’s already been settled.
Or it could be that they’re assholes I don’t know. Only getting one side here though.
