I think the company is setting up for a showdown to try to break the union.
It’s already broken from within. UPS is just gearing up to deliver the final blow while it’s down.
The union is going to be left with a lot of relatively low seniority guys that the company can manipulate or exchange for new clowns when the others quit. Lot of churn. No good can come from this for the teamsters.
Seems like that already. But you’re right and it will get worse. The union will be dominated by snowflakes that call the ethics line every time they don’t get their way. It will be interesting. My goal was to make it to age 55 and retire. That’s not too far off. But I will definitely still be here to see the demise.
I'm pretty sure if they offered 2 dollars an hour in exchange for the part timer's insurance, the part timers would vote 90% for it.
I mean.
In a theoretical world where part timers vote.
There is a hack to get all of them to vote. Except all votes through the ethics line. 🤣
