UPS is Smart with this plan. They get rid of as many of the old guys who know what they’re doing and know the contract.
When I started, it was a lot of those old dogs who passed on knowledge those old dogs won’t be around anymore to pass it on because they’re gonna take their money and leave.
That could severely weaken the next generation.
Either way I firmly believe this generation’s time to stand up is coming quick. Will they stay together?
That’s how I learned, if you looked like you were gonna stick, the old timers started to school you. Especially if you were gonna cover there route when they were on vacation. Lol. But that’s the way it was. It took at least a couple of years of working like you meant it.
