I have actually.

The British Library has some of the most beautiful historical Bibles you ever did see.

Not my favorite and most churches seem to use that one now

Our pastor once told us if we could rip out the parts of the Bible that are uncomfortable or challenges us or are unpleasant. It would be a pretty thin book.

Why is it not your favorite? I’ll have to check which version mine is

one thing I thought was cool, and I’m sure you all know this already but I didn’t, was there a particular line I really like that stuck with me, and after a couple days I looked it up I was curious if it was an original quote that originated from the Bible or something that was said at the time, but I realized the wording in my Bible was slightly different than others, so then I got curious about interpretations and translations in general, and how accurate is the book I’m reading now from the original one’s intent, and I was surprised to see how agreed upon they are from the originals, like high 90%s and the only big differences are like word formats and structure, but core message seems to be remarkably the same for how much time has passed

I have one. It’s not horrible, but it tries to use interpretation instead of words for word meaning. Very often it gets it wrong .

here’s a pretty good breakdown of the NIV and some of the issues with it. If you have one continue to read it. But I would also challenge you to get other versions and a concordance.

You didn’t yet your response to my go and sin no more was “grace is sufficient” and doesn’t address responsibility beyond said grace.

You didn’t yet your response to my go and sin no more was “grace is sufficient” and doesn’t address responsibility beyond said grace.

My response that grace is sufficient is because it is.

Have you ever repented for something you felt the Holy Spirit was telling you was a sin and then at some point later made the same mistake again?

I am grateful his grace is sufficient

Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Do you feel your studying of scripture allows you to hear from the Holy Spirit?

Maybe that’s how UPS interprets next day. Could be tomorrow or next week.

If UPS were quoted talking to the thief on the cross, it would read:

“Truly I tell you, today you will be on your own”. "Punch out before14 hours".
