Something I never understood when Dems were doing it either is what is the long term plan? Are universities essentially free now? What incentive do new college attendees have to pay off their loans?
and it’s one thing if we had gov funded schools like other countries, that’s a debate on its own, but now we’re essentially paying for artificially raised college costs from the loans?

Voters see additional/unnecessary tariffs piling on and doubt their concerns about increasing costs will ever be addressed. So they'll vote for the other guys next time.

Most of these colleges have billions of dollars in their endowment. And they’re raking in billions of dollars in student loans backed by the government that people can’t even discharge through bankruptcy.
So now the government just forgives them?

Dozens of protesters assembled outside the restaurant after a message was sent in the 'SW Minneapolis Rapid Response' Signal chat claiming that plain-clothed ICE officers were dining there.
One of the victims was in the chat and also received the message, which reportedly stated ICE's presence at the restaurant was 'confirmed by the owner.'
