In other words, no one knows

and you can trust Iran to lie like dogs about any negotiations.

There’s probably more to this than you can possibly know. Get past the mid terms and destroy them? Lol

More airstrikes? The IRGC would come out of its underground mountain bases to surrender, having finally had enough?

In other words, no one knows

I don’t think anyone’s known anything for over a month. It’s been on again off again. Who knows what’s going on but this is what’s being reported is being talked about.

I think it's on again off again because Iran has escalation dominance in the region and we're stuck. Just trying to buy time at this point.

I didn’t know you had such extensive knowledge about the IRGC. You know as much as me, which isn’t much. We’re all like mushrooms here.

Truth is none of us know anything about the IRGC are they still intact? Are they ready to fight? Maybe we put boots on the ground and they pretty much run away like what happened in Iraq? Hopefully our Intel is much better than it has been in years past

Do you think they're any less willing to hold out against us than the North Vietnamese were?

How many boots on the ground do you think we'd need to defeat the IRGC (and the Artesh if the regular military remains loyal) if we went into Iraq in 2003 with 160,000ish troops?

I’m not a general I couldn’t tell you maybe we can’t defeat them. At least not the old-fashioned way. Iran is a difficult terrain and would be nearly impossible to replenish supplies.

Think the US's mistake might've been not planning for how we'd still win strategically if we weren't able or willing to take it all the way militarily.

Well, until this is finalized, I don’t know that that isn’t their plan. Tomorrow we might wake up with Trump saying it’s the end of a civilization.

I am so glad that we will have finally achieved peace in the Middle East after this.

Maybe he’ll do it more convincingly this time. Maybe he’ll pull up a map and point to the places where millions of innocent civilians will be getting glassed. Maybe that’ll be enough for the IRGC to give up. Maybe tens of thousands of civilian deaths by their own hands is their limit.

That’s something you and I would probably think about but the Rich men North of Richmond, rarely do. The ends can always justify the means.

Exactly my point I thought that was what this was all about… we’re gonna make another deal for checking weapons and assuming they’re telling the truth? What makes us think they would tell the truth this time? And even if they did it for a couple years, why would they do it indefinitely?

Most people would rather have a politically-based conversation about “x” than an honest one. Keeps those men in business.

It’s always worth it to them and it’s not just the rich man. It’s the rich women.

It depends on the terms and consequences if they don’t hold up their end of the deal. As long as Trump is in power, enforcing it won’t be a problem.

Again, he’s only gonna be here a couple more years…….. if he wanted to finish this problem, I don’t think this will.
