We don’t know what we don’t know. My money is still on the USA.

My money is always on USA. But we have to be smart. The only way I can see a chance of getting rid of the leadership in Iran would be boots on the ground and I don’t know if people have the stomach for that. Not even myself.

Am I in bizzaro land here? Did we not learn a single thing from Afghanistan or Iraq?

We are not doing that again.

We are not doing that again.

We’re falling right back in to it.

First it wasn’t a war it was conflict or exercise. Now it’s a war but only a week, then a couple weeks, now a couple months.

Now we’re back to talking about regime change

We JUST got finished with Afghanistan, we were there for 20 years, we spent trillions and trillions of tax money, hundreds of thousands people killed, all to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.

And now we’re already talking about replacing the Iranian government

Why can’t we worry about our own fucking country for once? How much better off would we be if we spent that $5 TRILLION dollars on Americans instead of wasting it in the Middle East?

Iran hasn’t done shit to me. They affect my life in no way. I’m so tired of this shit

We’re falling right back in to it.

These places are not Iraq or Afghanistan we can argue about what’s right or what’s wrong and how to deal with other countries, but to pretend Iran doesn’t have the abilities to “do shit to us” is a very infantile way of looking at it.

The fact that Iran is chasing nuclear weapons is really only secondary to the what I believe is the real issue that they control a very important passage, way of oil to the rest of the world. ( I know, shocker they’re probably lying to us. About the real reason for this war.)

They along with several other nations are looking to supplant dollar homogeny.

Now you say you don’t care about that, but I can promise you if they’re successful you will care. We all will care. That doesn’t mean I necessarily agree with the strategy here, but I understand the concern. Maybe this administration panicked. Or maybe they’re right. What we can’t do is just say why can’t we just worry about ourselves because the rest of the world would not allow that.

Our very way of life depends on us being able to print dollars to pay our debt and then the rest of the world uses our dollars to do trade, that goes away and you don’t have this way of life anymore. What you would have would be more like a hell scape.

This is why I’ve been saying I believe war is coming one way or another. It’s always about money.

https://stanfordreview.org/dollar-hegemony-americas-unnamed-empire/

“Declining dollar hegemony is an existential risk to our way of life, which relies on money freely available to maintain millions of people on welfare and inflate our living standards. A failed treasury auction, the clearest symbol of demand for dollars globally, is a sure sign of the death of the American empire, and cannot be allowed to occur. Without trillions of almost free money each year, perhaps the US economy will prove to be less than exceptional.”

How would bombing Iran actually achieve the outcome you’re describing though? Let’s say we bomb them all and remove their leadership, then what? What comes next?

What outcome am I describing? I’m describing keeping things the way they are.

The US protects many Arab nations and many Asian nations if we look weak, the dollar is dead.

Iran has been working for over a decade to replace the dollar as the currency used to buy oil. I believe the United States was beginning to be concerned about that in a real way, especially with other countries coming on board.

This is a power-play and nothing else. Regime change would be preferred. I’m sure.

Like I said, maybe they are wrong about what they’re doing, but I believe this was kind of one way or the other. The world is a restless place. You’re either the bully or you’re the bullied.

If the dollar loses it dominance you me and @doublestandards can smoke cheap ditch weed, eat cans of Alpo dog food, while we sit in our cardboard box house. We can talk about how Iran dropped a financial nuclear bomb on us without ever launching one rocket at us.

Ask Great Britain about the Suez Canal

I’m all for eliminating Iran’s government. But I’m not sure that’s what we’re doing.
