I think you would be surprised how many guys don’t even know how much their pension would pay them if they were to leave and some of them have 25 or 30 years now. Most people never even bother to check or send away for that information from time to time to make sure it’s correct.

I agree with you but in the buyout case, I assumed it was a totally different transaction with different paper work

It is and it’s a totally separate thing with absolutely no real timeline, which is ridiculous. I’m telling you they’re going to give you 60 or $70,000 and you have no idea when you’re going to get it.

If they screw this up, nobody will take a future buyout if offered.
Anybody that wasn’t already planning on retiring that took this buyout is probably going to struggle for a few weeks until they get all the paperwork and issues ironed out that they should’ve been working on before considering the buyout.unlike what Dave was trying to tell us a few months ago, it’s not as simple as snapping your fingers and I damn sure wouldn’t trust this company to do anything quickly or care one little bit.
