I know my point was not only do they get sued for w/c but also personal injury. So they do get sued....a lot too I imagine.
For sure, they have a whole legal department set up to drain the litigants dry with hearings and appeals that last indefinitely.
My guy just came back from comp. There was an incident with a dog. He wanted to sue the home owners/dog owners but his lawyer told him any money he got from a lawsuit he would have to pay back to the state workers comp board.

My credit score dropped below 800 several years ago but when you get in that range it means little more than bragging points. Mine was still in high 700's last time I checked.

I have a mortgage so not exactly debt free. This isn't my forever house, I have at least one move in my future so I do care but...

... I got it up to 827 at one time. You are right it means nothing. You don't get a better interest rate at 830 than 800. It's just point chasing.

Its silly to play the little games to try to boost your credit score a few more points. I don't think it matters if you are at least 700 or so.

That's true. I've seen quite a few red tagged trailers,package cars and at one time a whole tractor,attached to a set sit for at least a year tagged for legal.
