constant state of emergency so they can do anything they want

I would say it really didn’t work out very good for them. Although I’m sure the bean counters would say different because it’s cheap cheaper to pay all these grievances I guess.Well over $1 million in 9.5 and several hundred thousand dollars worth of Supervisor’s working in grievancesThey’re paying them without blinking

At my location, there’s almost 0 chance of people being laid off. Even right now we’re probably 30 driver short and people are retiring as of this week. and never replaced.

Of course this is exactly how they want it

Where you at bro? Without giving too much information away. Like what local?

I'm in Atlantic.

Wouldn’t my local give all the information? Lol

No?

Shit light over here and I'm in a big 4 center building. I know the layoffs aren't going to get to me. They have to layoff in building seniority order right? Like there can't be a lesser seniorty driver working in another center over me rigjt?I could bump into another center if it came to it?

@thebrownblob

I honestly doesn't know how it works between center's

You work in a building with only one center.

We have multiple centers in our building.

It’s a shit show lol

They aren't waiting for the buyout?

We have more than one center .

They aren't waiting for the buyout?

The gentleman who retired Friday refused to take the buyout a few months ago, and said he was retiring at the first of the year.

I told him he probably made just as much money if he would’ve taken the buyout, but this was his choice so kudos to him he went out of his way.

Oh, and he called in Friday lol

@thebrownblob you aren't that important. You think giving your local away is going to reveal too much information? Cmon bruh let's be serious. But aight.

When they start laying off drivers, (which hasn’t happened for a while here)
They would have to go by building seniority not Center seniority.

moving between centers in the same buiding can be tricky. Usually a center that just needs a warm body so will grab the lowest seniority floater from another center. But I think the driver has the option of not working in another center if that happens. He only has to do it if he wants to work that day.

Oh wow. Two?

Oh wow. Two?

If they ever got to him on layoffs, the company would be going out of business lol

I think they would have more drivers take the buyout if they let them leave now instead of August or September

Well, work as directed in our building. Which we eventually relented to, but also make the company layoff by building seniority since they can use these people in any center whenever they want. They don’t get to have it both ways.

Ahh we know whose building is closing down next... @gumby 's 🤣
