I had a spot cut off the side of my face years ago using MOHS surgery. They slice a little layer off and look at it under a microscope to figure out if they got all of it. If not, they slice another layer off going deeper and do the same. When they get a clean report, you are done. I had a spot about the size of a nickel. The spot felt dead for a few years, until the nerves eventually grew back. I have no scar at all from it and I do go to a dermatologist on a regular basis to be looked at.

My first one took a part of the cartilage from the side. This one takes care of it all. Had a full body scan before this.
But.... it’s now recommended to have a full scan every 6-12 months. I’m more susceptible to this being fair skinned and blonde hair.
