I’ve had other buddies who have owned Fords that had great luck. One of them still has a range from the mid to late 1990s that’s still rolling.

For whatever reason, I just had bad luck every time

The only way we found out about the problem was the mechanic told us about the recall. Ford was telling the dealers so if anyone else knew about it they could have had the bolts replaced but Ford was trying to save money hoping nobody would find out. I think there was a later class action suit but by then a lot of the cars were off the road.

@unionstrong come on.

You already insulted the guy twice today.
Let him have his little corner in peace. He's not hurting anybody.

He’s a fraud

@unionstrong does not play well with others

He’s a fraud

Doesn't matter. He's not hurting anyone posting scripture over there.

It is after 9 AM, so I blame the alcohol. Lol.

This is embarrassing:

Ford Motor Company currently has the most vehicle recalls, leading the U.S. industry in 2025 with 152 safety recalls affecting nearly 13 million vehicles, shattering previous records. Ford has maintained the highest recall volume in three of the past five years, focusing on critical systems like rear-view cameras, powertrains, and electrical

And I let you tell him to fuck off twice.
That's enough.

Ask me nicely…

Pretty please play nicely before I kick your last three teeth in.

Ok, but only because you got a purty mouth

I've had a 00 expedition, a 01 excursion 7.3, a 02 250 7.3, now a 22 explorer and a 97 ranger. Only the expedition blew up but it did blow up twice.

We had a 1998 expedition with the 5.4 triton engine and it blew up. Spent about $4000 and had it replaced because the vehicle was still very nice.

My wife proceeded to drive it through an intersection and totaled it about a month later

I blame Ford for that too lol!

That’s why I drive a Honda, and an Acura

That’s why I drive a Honda, and an Acura

Hondas are some of the least sexy but most reliable cars made

My little sister's boyfriend keeps trying to get her to buy her herself a Ford car.

I learned all I needed to about him from that.

That’s why I drive a Honda, and an Acura

I'd drive a Honda.

Reliability is pretty much all I care about.

Buy union made cars you twat. Live your values.

I’ve had 5 Hondas, and 4 Acura. I had one Acura TL for 11 years, general maintenance, never a problem.
