There were no peanut allergies when I was a kid. If there were, it was so rare, no one ever heard about it.
That’s scary. I’ve read 20% grow out of it, there’s also a new product called palforzia that supposedly can help lower reactions I know, basically just tiny amounts of peanuts to help train the immune system
Yeah their immune system isn't fully developed yet and a lot of their antibodies are actually from mom until they are 1yo so there's a lot of false positives and false negatives. They can't do an all foods allergy panel til she's 1 cause the results are so inaccurate.
