The last time I bought an appliance there (a dryer) I would have taken one home if they had any in back. They didn't but the sales guy gave me free delivery the next day.
They would have charged me a few dollars to haul the old one away but I just put it out with the trash the next week and sure enough a scrounger grabbed it.

There’s a guy around here drives an old Toyota with a homemade trailer behind it drives around on trash day and will pick up all kinds of junk I remodeled a bathroom awhile ago and literally had to tear the vanity into pieces to get it out. He stopped and picked up all of it

Yep, this is what I’ve been saying. USPS and FedEx are so terrible. They make us look fairly good. It’s pretty pathetic.
