Sweet Poon Tang
Corner Irish Bar
My father was warned but he was in denial about it. He told me how bad he was but didn't want me to tell the rest of the family. He told me his doctor said to see him in 6 months to see how much time he had left. What his doctor really told him was he might last 6 months if he took care of himself. He was dead in 3.
My dad quit his job told no one, took a small loan out on his condo of about 20 K that he owned. Paid off his truck. Then sat there and drank himself to death over the course of about three or four months by the time they found him it was too late.
Please let's compare hours worked at UPS. You would have to work another 50 years to even come close to me.
Why do you think I did this job for so fucking long?
I wanted to make sure I didn't have to work. I have no real desire to ever go back to work.
Now from the very bottom of my heart
FUCK OFF.
Yawn 🥱
He’s got a great opportunity for one more chance hopefully he uses it
He does and I've seen many others blow it as I'd bet he will. I'm sure you have seen far more than myself. My point is there were all of us telling him to slow it down and he ignored all our advice. He gets what he deserves. If a year goes by and we are still here and he's still there I'll admit that I was wrong, but I'm a gambling man and I think I've got a winner on his failure.

Yep, I’ve seen a lot of people and I would say the majority of them fail. Still I’m an optimist and he’s a younger guy. I hope he doesn’t fail, but the odds are certainly against him.

My father owned a bar. Not the best environment for an alcoholic.
That's why I sold my stock a few days before you became a quitter.

More like scuttling.
Get a route in a town where everyone has 3 car garages, pools, and $20k plus property taxes.
I never wanted a nice route.
If you have something nice, that means that they have control over you. Something they can take away when it's convenient.
I kept my route because it made me a lot of money, and that's the only reason I was there.
