Not too shabby at all.

I'll have to see if I can't shuffle some money around.

Not too shabby at all.

I'll have to see if I can't shuffle some money around.

Even if its $25 a month.

The base rate is permanent

He’s broke.

Settle down

Lets all make fun of @thebrownblob and @1030

Let's

Y'all f with legos or nah? Did you know the average rate of return on an unopened discontinued Lego set is 11% a year?

So I hear you’re a gay…

Browncafe was able to manage that "stick around long enough" bit because of the 2+ decades of useful thread history.

Incentivizing people to stick around through the hazing hasn't shown itself to be particularly easy on here so far.

Well, quite frankly, I don’t think that has anything to do with your website. Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok ect has created a whole generation of people who have the attention span of a flea and have no desire to have real conversations with a community of people. They would rather make meaningless comments and move on.

Legos are cool and they are for everyone.

I had quite a lot of lego growing up.

Harry potter sets and Star wars sets are good ideas. I didn't know the ROI was that high, but it doesn't surprise me.

The older sets had larger pieces and better sets. The new stuff cranked up the "piece count" but they're all tiny pieces.

Well if you have ideas for how to grow our community without having to interact with said generation, I'm definitely open to ideas.

When I was a kid, those things were super cheap. They have a store just for Legos. I walked in there a few times and realized these are adult toys or very rich kids.

I admit, I had more fun with them than my son did.

So stupid expensive now.

It’s not you, it’s the idiots today

@21savage is a pretty good example. He had a rough start on the caféand then he found his groove and fit in. So it can be done and discounting. The older generation is losing a lot of good information and knowledge. Even if they do stink, like dirty diapers, and BenGay.
