Too much hassle to go to the gym but I do have exercise equipment in the basement. I do use it every day whether I feel like it or not.
First year or so I mostly laid around like a fat slob. When I was working I easily got enough exercise so it does take a while to adjust to retirement.
I lost a lot of muscle weight , but put on about 10 lbs of fat lol

Your body will mostly heal without the daily wear and tear but how much depends on how long you wait to get out of that place.

My decision can not be undone
You have thirty days to change your mind once you leave.
And FU this morning.

He will have to go buy some feeder pants if he thinks he is just going to sit around and drink beer.

Fortunately for me, the gym is 5 minutes down the street.Β
It has a full lap pool, therapy pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, walking track, yoga, and every piece of equipment you can imagine.
The best part is after turning 65 and going to Medicare, my gym membership is free. The center is tied into the local hospital system
and by using their Medicare supplement plan gives me that benefit. The bummer about it being a rehab center for the hospital is their
are a lot of rehab patients (some of whom) are hard to see. If I donβt workout or swim, I at least walk the track and then ride a bike.
I use the hot tub every day which is freaking great and go back most evenings to use the sauna. Not too many hot chicks.... but enough.
