The company’s new directive is to make sure you’re only keeping the bulkhead door open 15 seconds, they are threatening, progressive discipline if it’s taking longer than that.Doesn’t matter if it’s a dock stop or a bulk stop, apparently they want people to have heat related issues in the back of these trucks.They continually make sure they show no concern for their workforce Safety.I look forward to making them look like fools for this one size fits all directive.
Before they could even begin progressive discipline, they would have to provide adequate demonstration of the method.
Even then.... it’s just another flavor of the month. They don’t have the fortitude or manpower to retrain all the drivers.

I carried a bungee cord to hold the bulk head door open when I ran residential. They never said anything to me.
Just like I never ran Orion....and ran 2 1/2 hours over everyday. They knew the time studies were fucked up and even the burners
would lose their minds trying to scratch. Couldn’t be done.

You know how smug those Tuesday-Saturday drivers are right now?
They're over the moon that they get the three day weekend over the M-F guys.
Soooo many holidays are on Monday. We get shafted!
