The mandated but annoying gas saving feature that shuts off the engine at stop lights? You can disable it but have to push the button every time you start your car. And who needs automatic high beams? Or radar cruise control?I keep mine in normal mode. Might cost me 1 mpg or so vs economy but I never use sport mode. Snow mode is OK in bad weather for the AWD but otherwise nope.

I heard they recently eliminated the requirement for that but it will be years before we see any new cars without it. I can't see the manufacturers rushing to change it. They will probably be afraid the government will change its mind about it again.
