So some sound advice...Do not buy any appliances from Lowe's. We ordered a new stove that came in Monday and I picked it up as we are redoing our kitchen. Installed it yesterday and used it once last night now the hand touch control panel quit working, so we call Lowe's and ask about fixing it or getting an exchange....sorry you only have 48 hours to return a product. WTF? So I tell them fine come get your shit I haven't paid for yet I'll be contacting my credit card company and have them tell you to pound sand. So ok we'll come pick it up.

A new appliance should have a manufacturers warranty for longer than that. That sounds like BS from the sales/customer service rep.
I have bought a couple of appliances from Lowe's without any problems. I don't like that store but most of their competition is gone.

I agree the MFG does have more but Lowe's should at least have 30 days. Apparently Home Depot is the same. BestBuy and Brandsmart at lest give you 15 days.
