What did they give you?
I was referred to a level 1 trauma hospital after 9hrs in a regular hospital getting all my cat scan bs etc done … I declined to go at that time …in hindsight I probably should have went …they could have given me IV a shit I think for a couple days at least

Generic Vicodin. About the strongest they will prescribe these days and they are stingy about even that. All due to the people who abuse them. The people with real pain are forced to suffer.
Vicodin, they’re definitely helping but they can only do so much for broken ribs, probably will only hurt worse if you stop, that sucks tho man

Vicodin....eh one step above Tylenol with Codeine. Usually what a Dentist gives you after a root canal. Probably not going to do much for broken ribs.
Was that from the hospital? They usually won't give you much above that.
My dentist used to prescribe a few Vicodin after a root canal but the last time all they did was tell me to take some over the counter crap for pain.

Dr.s are scared to death of giving pain meds anymore they're afraid you'll OD and then sue them.

More they are afraid of heat from the Feds. It would take a shit load of Vicodin to OD.
I had shoulder surgery a while back and the Doc gave me 20 Percocets I was dude for real? I said I've had shoulder surgery before 20 will be gone in the first two days.

One of my buddies broke a rib after he fell off a ladder at his house. He did not go to the doctor. Eventually, he started having issues breathing. Turns out one of his ribs poked a lung. Ended up in the hospital for over a week getting fluid drained. 😳

The only time I had to stay in a hospital they gave me some dilaudid (which is basically morphine) and it made me sick to my stomach. I told them to just give me some Vicodin instead because I knew I could handle that.

I broke 4 …but none hit an organ …….yes extreme issues if I breath to hard , cough ,,,etc etc
