I sued them over a workers comp issue and kicked their ass. Took close to a year, but none the less it cost them some big coin. Sad thing is if they just covered my injury wouldn't have cost them a 1/4 of what they had to pay.

Work comp is a very different animal. Not to mention that generally speaking, the employee is never on the hook to pay their lawyer upfront so thereβs nothing for them to lose. We win just about every work comp case there is if the lawyer fights it.
Also, anyone that gets injured and does not use a work comp Lawyer is doing their self a huge disservice. UPS is using numerous lawyers and a very corrupt insurance company toward against you and your interests.

Rob Atkinson whoβs now at the international sued the company when they fired him eventually won his lawsuit but it took a very long time. I canβt even remember how long almost 10 years I believe.

The biggest reason is always money Many of those lawsuits are legitimate, but the person bringing them runs out of time and money.
