Ivw missed you all..my husband came home from a 3 week hospital stay, 2 in icu, several surgeries..I opted to care for him at home, vs a health care facility. So I stay pretty busy..but he's progressing. And he likes my cooking, better than theirs..
He had an aneurysm, with blood clots, which also put him in to heart failure. The aneurysm and blood clot blocked blood flow to his right leg, and damn near lost it. By the Grace of God they saved it by doing a bypass from shoulder to groin, bypassing the aneurysm. It was a very low chance he would survive. His heart was pumping at 9%. He also got pneumonia.
But here we are. Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts.

Dear Lord, I pray he recovers. That looks intense. It must be very stressful for you too. In sickness and in health, we vowed. Bless you.
I had people say..go out and enjoy your life while he's in there. I sat there every day, 2 hrs from our house. It was terrifying for him..to be in that condition, and through no fault of his own.
Had another one say, divorce and nursing home..my friends list dwindled quickly. The docs and surgeons said he's a miracle..doing fantastic, king of pain. Ill go with that.
