Want to know why gas isn't cheap anymore ?
The costs to lease an oil tanker have gone up 10 fold.
Normally it would be in the $7-$10M range.
But now it's $76M.
What the shippers do now is use two vessels to move the oil; one to travel thru the Straits of Hormus into the Gulf of Oman where a transfer of cargo takes place to another vessel to finish the journey.

It hasn't changed much around here. Mostly moving between $4.50 or so to still under $5.00

Oil goes down $10 and gas goes down a nickel. If it goes up $10 has goes up 50 cents.
