The rates are crazy now. With the fixed and recovery costs how much I actually use doesn't make much difference on my bill.
Im still pretty fortunate that my utilities are still affordable. Its for sure under $5k total for the year.

It’s mostly electric here because of the AC. But with the solar panels, I don’t even spend that much for gas and electric. Gas runs me 20-30 a month most of the year, winter might get to 50 bucks? electric is in the 20s except for 4 months, then it’s 90 to 180.
Fuck that. Ill gladly pay the electric bill to run the ac and stay cool in the summer, and coal bill in the winter to stay warm.
